Some of the more interesting things that I have seen in the way of creative art work, if you can call it that, are snow sculptures.

Several years ago there was an exhibition of these creations outside our local shopping mall.  I went along during the day, when it was bitterly cold and snowing, to get some pictures.  Everything looked grey, even the snow, and the resulting shots weren’t all that I had hoped for, so I went back later that  evening. It was still extremely cold and snowing but the floodlit sculptures appeared more defined against the dark sky.

This kind of artwork only really survives through the medium of photography since it disappears once the temperatures climb, so I’m glad I managed to capture these before they melted away.
